Getting my Letterboxing Education

From: strout99 (strout99@hotpop.com) | Date: 2002-08-11 13:11:39 UTC
Well, I'm a newbie and this week I've learned so much
1 A hybrid is a combination box of stamping & geocacheing
2 Not to use fingernail polish remover to clean my stamps
3 How to write clues
4 What "monroe bragging" rights are!
5 That when I plant a box it might be a good idea to include a
stamppad for the box so my inks don't get mixed because the previous
soul didn't have any cleaning tool with them.

Here's what I'd like to share..........
To follow mailing list rules that were established 10 yrs
ago...when something upsets you, write a reply but DON"T send it!
Wait 24 hours read the post again, read your reply but DON"T send it.
Wait 24 hours and then read the post and your reply a 3rd time. If
you're still inflammed, then send it, BUT NOT TO THE LIST. Send it
privately.

Now could SKS (some kind soul) please tell me

1 what as ESAK (sp?) is?
2 what does this mean? P0 F3 X1 V3 C0(I put this in as a joke, hope
to never have a number after C) and last but not least L2
P...planted?
F...found?
X...???
V...virtual?
C...???
L....lost?
TIA (thanks in advance)

- TO answer your question
1-ESAK- Ihave no idea
2-P- planted
3-F-found
4-X- exchanged- meet another letterboxer and excange stamps
5-V- virtual- there is a section in this site reg. vituals. They
are challenging. We do them when it's too hot to go out.
6-C- confiscated as reported in post # 14389
7-L- that's my nephews own personal addition because he likes
lizards and the word googol. I on the other hand have now
encountered 3. 2 real and 1 stamped courtesy of twogreysquirrels. L
is just to add a little fun and humor to a sport (that is as I was
told to be fun). You don't need to add it to your list. IT was all
meant to be fun...

An ESAK is an Elmer, Sarah, Allison & Kyle. They're a family of
'boxers from central CT, frequently met at area gatherings.

What I wonder, if L is for lizard, could other herpetiles be included
in that? In CT we haven't much for lizards, but we do have snakes,
salimanders, and frogs -- and we've seen and photographed lots (maybe
not quite a google...how about an arugula?)
